Faster Uploads: We've sped up the Upload Sales to METRC page!

Edited Sales Now Sync to METRC: Users who manually upload sales to METRC will see a new status on the Upload Sales to METRC page. The "Updated" status will appear next to sales that have been edited. Sales with this Updated label will find and update related METRC receipts.

Voids Now Sync to METRC: Now when you void a sale in Marijuana Software, that sale will also void any existing METRC receipt.   

Updated METRC Limits for Oregon: We've synced our system with the latest METRC categories and sales limits.

New Tax-Exempt Customer setting: We have added the ability to mark customers as exempt from tax1 or tax2.

We created a new tool to rapidly reconcile your METRC sales.

Hello Everyone,

We hope you're doing well. We wanted to let you know about an important issue with our software that you need to be aware of.

Here's What Happened: On January 3rd, 2024, we rolled out a big update aimed at improving how our system reports sales to METRC. Unfortunately, we ran into some problems. From January 10th to January 28th, 2024, our system mistakenly sent out the same sales information more than once to METRC for many of our users. This glitch caused some trouble with inventory records, making it seem like there was less stock than there actually was, leading to some numbers dropping into the negative.

We've Fixed It: Don't worry, we've tackled this issue head-on and have already fixed it in our system. To help you adjust any affected sales records, we've prepared a guide on using the "METRC Sale Day Reset" button. You can watch a helpful video about it below. What Else Is New?

• Smarter METRC Sales Reporting: Now, when you update a sale in our software, the changes are automatically sent to METRC.
• Enhanced Debit/Credit Card Support: We've improved how we handle PIN debit transactions to make things smoother.
• Cash vs. Credit Report: Easily see your cash and credit sales totals at a glance.
• Quick Cash Recommendations: Our POS system now suggests cash amounts when you're wrapping up a sale, making it quicker to give change.

Important Update: Improved METRC Integration and Fixes in Marijuana Software

Date: January 3, 2024

We updated our METRC sales reporting system today. This makes it easier to match your Marijuana Software sales with METRC records. Now, when you change a sale that's already in METRC, the METRC receipt will update too.

Noticed Issues & Solutions:

1. Duplicate Sales: Some of you saw double sales in METRC. We've fixed this. To correct past sales, use the METRC Sales Reconciliation tool to check yesterday's sales.
2. Caregiver Sales Upload Issue: There was a problem uploading sales from caregivers. It's fixed now. To fix affected sales, go to the 'upload sales to METRC' page, click the order number, edit the sale, and hit 'Close Sale'. Then you can upload it to METRC.

We fixed 2 bugs on the OMMA Monthly Transfers Report

• Like packages with the same Batch # were being grouped incorrectly throwing off counts. Fixed
• Archived products were appearing in this month's report. Fixed.

Today OMMPOS experienced a service slow down from approx. 4 to 9pm PST. We traced the cause to an outage in Microsoft's west coast datacenter. We were able to work around this issue by creating and re-routing to a redundant data store in Microsoft's east coast datacenter. Please contact me with any questions. The Enhanced Inventory Report was deducting uncloded sales from inventory. 

Yesterday we fixed a bug where the value of the inventory column of the Enhanced Inventory Report was showing numbers that included products added to unclosed sales. We have fixed this bug. Please review the update report to make sure your inventory looks actuate. This bug did not affect any other system or counts. Please let me know if you have any questions.

New Way to Pay Your Bill

Thursday August 20th we will be launching an update that changes the way that we do billing. The with the new billing system you can pay your bill directly from your OMMAPOS homepage. MJSOFT will appear on your monthly statement. You can see you new statement on the bottom of the OMMAPOS main menu starting on the 20th.

New Main Menu

We updated the main menu to highlight your daily sales data. Seitch between hourly sales view and category sales view. 

New Web Menu Editor

The new Web Menu Editor makes it easy to make sure all of the product information in your API is correct. The new editor will be avilable August 20th. Click the support button and then Web Menus to see the new editor. 

New Update Schedule

We will be doing rolling updates by request every 2 weeks. Do you have a change that you would like to see in the system? Let us know.

We received reports of extreme system slowness this morning and afternoon. We traced the problem to our online ordering report notification system and have temporarily taken it offline. We will review the cause of the problem and bring the online order indicator back online once the issue has been fixed. Entering a custom dollar amount into the quantity selected is now based on price tiers not just the gram price.

New Smarter Discounting
Discounting now subtracts from the after tax price instead of the before tax price. This change makes it easier to discount to an exact dollar amount.

We have implemented OMMA Sales Limits based on the following OMMA rules

310:681-2-8. Possession Limits

(a) A patient who has been issued and is in possession of an OMMA medical marijuana license is legally authorized to:  
(1) Consume marijuana legally;  
(2) Legally possess up to three (3) ounces (84.9 grams) of marijuana on their person;               
(3) Legally possess six mature marijuana plants;  
(4) Legally possess six seedling plants;
(5) Legally possess (1) ounce (28.3 grams) of concentrated marijuana;
(6) Legally possess seventy-two (72) ounces (2,037.6 grams) of edible marijuana; and
(7) Legally possess up to eight (8) ounces (226.4 grams) of marijuana in their residence.

(b) These possession limits are cumulative and a licensed patient or caregiver may possess at one time the totality of the items listed in this Section.

We have made several updates to improves OMMAPOS performace

• New OMMA Transfers Report. The new OMMA Transfers Report is our first draft of the OMMA monthly reporting requirement. Find the OMMA Transfers report under the reports section.
• Updated Timecard Reporting. We have updated timecaard tracking functionality to be more accurate.
• RECREATIONAL Sales option removed from system. The Recreational 'New Order' button has been removed from the sales screen. New Patient classifications have also been added to match OMMA reporting requirements.
• The Sales POS screen now automatically exits to the Sale landing page after each order.
